ABOUT CREATIVES DESTINATION

Hi!  I'm Diana Jane Heath and I am the owner of Creatives Destination.  I believe that the written word has the power to inspire, teach, entertain, and challenge our perceptions of the world around us. 

The task of a creative writer is brilliantly summed by author Joseph Conrad, “My task, which I am trying to achieve is, by the power of the written word, to make you hear, to make you feel - it is, before all, to make you see.”

Just a little bit about me. I have over 20 years of experience in office administration, clerical support, and customer service. I have worked in finance, banking, retail, government, and even in an art framing shop.

My passion for writing from a child inspired me to embark upon a literary sea-change (as I like to call it) into the academic world,. I am now the proud owner of a Bachelor of Communication with majors in screen studies and creative writing. 

My creative writing articles were featured in the Unearthed Fiction magazine, which was part of The Australia Times online publication. Two of my short stories have been published on www.short-story.me

Since 2016, I have been writing buying guides and product reviews for the sustainable living website Morning Chores.

I have written articles for My Good Interview, which is a website that offers a range of free AI-Powered personality tests, and information about the Myers-Briggs 16 personality types.

If you love reading short stories, I have self-published a collection of short stories, Tales for the Sisterhood. The collection includes genres such as crime, historical romance, and fantasy. Tales for the Sisterhood is available for purchase through Amazon as a Kindle eBook and paperback.
